Teach Them

From the moment you wake up ..... take one day and teach your child 20% of what you do in just one day. Starting with washing hands. Is it too hard to think about teaching your child the correct way to wash hands?

Do you even realize how many people do not wash hands? Everywhere we go my husband has commented for years how many men go in and out of the bathroom without washing hands. I honestly don’t see many woman skip this process but it does happen. When working with children you have no idea how many do not know how to wash hands . I have one child that does it correctly in my care. She is 3 years old. All other children need my guidance and help . It’s just like teaching them to use the toilet. Some do not use soap. Some squirt soap in their hands and wash it off with no rubbing involved. Please please please make this a routine in your home. Go to the sink and sing twinkle twinkle little star and wash your child’s hands with them and do it over and over and over . Be certain to follow up on how they are doing it and how long they are washing. This is important. They are germ spreaders. Instead of zombies spreading the disease with a bite they are little zombies spreading the virus with a lick.
